Anyone ever had those shooting/pinching pelvic pains that feel like implantation, but ended up getting a BFN? With my first LO I had them on 7DPO and knew that is what it was. I got a BFP 3 days later. We've been trying for 6 months now for #2 and this morning at 8DPO I got the same feeling. I am trying not to get my hopes up too much and I can't remember if I felt them at all in any of my BFN cycles... (I think I might have my first cycle trying and had a super weird cycle with cramping and light spotting from 7dpo on that I am convinced was my body trying to implant but unsuccessfully. ) Anyway, thanks for helping me obsess about minor symptoms

I get them, but I also get ovarian cysts. so I never know what's causing the pain...my ovaries or something in my uterus.

I did. The first month ttc this time around, I had nothing (and knew it wasn't our month). The second month however, I was POSITIVE. I had every single ache, pinch, and cramp that I had when I got pregnant with DS. BFN. We got our BFP the next month though!

Are you on progesterone this cycle too? I think that intensifies my cramping.

I did. The cycle before my second BFP, I had pinching pain that felt exactly like implantation, but got a BFN. Hope yours is the real thing though!

@MaryM: I am on progesterone! So that could be it too! Although these didn't feel at all like cramps. Just sharp shooting pain in my pelvis. No, please, keep it real! I'm trying NOT to get too excited. Way too many disappointments this year.

I get cysts, so any "cramping" or "tingle" I get I assume it is that, not necessarily implantation.

My implantation pains (in retrospect) were more like very very mild cramps that lasted an evening and a day rather than pinching. I had had pinching in other cycles and it turned out to be nothing.

I've had those twinges practically every cycle we have been ttc, at least 10 cycles. I used to get so excited thinking it meant something but it never did. And I only got a bfp this month. I think mine too were cysts. I also felt the same thing the week after I got my bfp.

Well update: I got a bfp! I think I've only ever gotten those exact sharp pinches on a bfp and that one other cycle. I guess for me that's what it feels like...

@NovBaby1112: 2 days- I had the sharp pinching on 8 DPO and 9 DPO and tested at 10 DPO, but it was crazy light. With DS, I had that pinching at seven DPO and tested at 10 DPO and had a line similar to what I got today at 11 DPO, so I'm thinking three is a good number of days in between pinching and testing

I had really weird pinching/pulling going on at 8dpo at night, just like I had with my daughter, but got a negative this morning at 10dpo holding out hope for tomorrow I guess...

@NovBaby1112: yeah I would test tomorrow. Mine yesterday was so extremely light that it was practically negative!
