I've heard of it, and seen it everywhere! I haven't played it, though. I want to!
squash / 13208 posts
Heard of it - I think I found it by accident on Amazon one day - never played
honeydew / 7667 posts
I haven't played it but have seems some of the cards. My little brother wanted to play after Christmas and we decided my mom might get offended
pomelo / 5258 posts
We own it but DH hasn't let me play it or look at the cards. He said I would think less of him.

I've heard of it. Is it family friendly? I had heard of it before but thought it was kind of crude?
grapefruit / 4110 posts
Yes and yes! It is apples to apples but dirty (really dirty) but so much fun.
Eta it is definitely R rated.
cherry / 245 posts
Yup. We even have expansion packs. Not a game I would play with my parents.
GOLD / wonderful pea / 17697 posts
Ha yes! We love that game, but we have pretty bawdy senses of humor and are not at all easily offended. My BIL has all of the expansion packs so we play any time we're together!
cantaloupe / 6171 posts
Yep, we have it! It's pretty ridiculous. Sometimes a little too much, but really fun with a big group.

We are going to a game night with a two other couples from day care tonight. We don't know them super well but they are all fun and we're already discussing how wasted we plan to get (and crash at the hosts house) so I think it would be hilarious to bring this game with us. My husband says it's "too soon" and they'll be horrified by us.
coconut / 8234 posts
I've heard of it and I can't wait to play it. Just the sort of game I'd like to play

I have played it and own it.... and got the personalized card from the 12 days of holiday bullshit promotion. It is really really really dirty. I mean the only line they draw is rape jokes (as in they dont do them but everything else). You have to know your crowd. If people are PC and proper it will be a big bust.
GOLD / wonderful coconut / 33402 posts
@MamaMoose: I have! I would bring it. It will break the ice. After some drinks no one is going to care.
GOLD / cantaloupe / 6581 posts
@MamaMoose: Bring it!! I think it's a perfect 'get to know you in the most awkward way ever' game!
nectarine / 2667 posts
Yes & it's right up our alley. My cousin has it & let us borrow to play with my husband's family. You do need to know your audience though.
@MamaMoose: we have "daycare" friends who live down the street - I wonder if they'll like it? Have fun - you should take it just in case!
pomelo / 5509 posts
Yep, we love that game, we'll be playing with friends tonight! We just got one of the expansion sets for Christmas.
We have very crude and inappropriate senses of humor, though, and I can see where the game isn't for everyone, especially if you're easily offended. Definitely NOT family friendly.

We own it, even down to the latest "12 days of holiday BS" set — which comes with a card with the orderer's first and last name. (I have hidden that from the rest of the set.)
We played with some guy friends from college not too long ago. I was worried the wives would be offended, but they weren't at all! It was a lot of fun.
coconut / 8854 posts
They play it on the radio on a morning show that I listen to once a week, and it's hilarious!!!
bananas / 9118 posts
I keep hearing about it and it sounds awesome! We don't really have a large group to play it with around here though.
nectarine / 2667 posts
@lemondrop: we played with just a group of 5 and it was still a lot of fun!
coconut / 8279 posts
Never heard about it until a coworker mentioned it this morning, lol
cantaloupe / 6751 posts
My brother just bought it for us as a stocking stuffer this Christmas - it's hilarious! Totally not family-friendly and not for those easily offended.
clementine / 811 posts
Yup, played it many times. It can get pretty silly, but definitely not for all company
eggplant / 11287 posts
Oh yes I've played.
When I was the "master" of one of the rouds, I drew the category card "Old people smell like ______."
My husband played "two midgets shitting in a bucket."
pear / 1812 posts
My husband made the game for me last Christmas and we finally got to play this week with my mom, sister, and bil. My mom was the crudest!
it was a ton of fun.
GOLD / wonderful pea / 17697 posts
My favorite not-horribly offensive one was (I don't know that some of you would talk to me ever again if I share the one that got the most laughs) :
"Giving 110%: Farting and having a little bit of poop come out".
I blame pregnancy hormones, and my love of fart jokes, for why I almost died laughing when D played this on me a few summers ago.
pomelo / 5789 posts
@MamaMoose: we always keep a game like this in the car then feel out if it's appropriate
persimmon / 1339 posts
Just played for the first time New Years Eve last night!! So fun. My favourite: Vladimir Putin's favourite food is Man Meat stuffed with the American Dream!
Love love love it.
pomegranate / 3779 posts
My sister has it and we took it to a local BYOB spot to play. We got quite a few looks because we were laughing so loud, but I sure hope that the other patrons couldn't hear what we were saying too clearly. It's definitely not PC in any way, but we had a ton of fun and think the rest of the family would think its hilarious.
clementine / 797 posts
We own this game and several expansion packs. It's absolutely horrible but it is so much fun to play with the right crowd. I cry from laughing so hard each time we play. But we are totally "that" kind of people though
persimmon / 1388 posts
I love this game. I have a very crude sense of humor, though. Definitely would never play with my parents. Our expansion packs just arrived today. We're playing tonight! Woot! Lol.
@MrsBrewer: Agreed, hilarious. I think it would be funnier if they could read the really dirty cards on the air! I think they pick through and pull those out.
pineapple / 12526 posts
@mediagirl: Absolutely not family friendly.
Yes! We've played it quite a bit. I played it with my mom too, who loved it and is going to buy it to play with my aunt and grandma. I think the game is hilarious as long as everyone can set aside being offended by anything for a while.
grapefruit / 4817 posts
I haven't played, but bought it for my SIL for Christmas, so ill probably get to at some point.
