So, after two years of marriage (and horrible sleep for me), I finally convinced DH to talk to his doctor about his snoring. It was only after he started having issues (he was super exhausted for no reason) that he took that step.

They set him up with a sleep text last month, and he got the results. He's only mildly apneic. So they leave it up to him to decide if he should get a machine or not, they don't have a strong recommendation.

But the apnea isn't the main problem. It may be mild, but his snoring is SO NOT.

We got a foam mattress topper so that I couldn't feel him shaking the bed as much. I sleep with foam earplugs and still sometimes hear him. If for any reason I wake him up, he's incredibly startled, so I know he's not sleeping well.

Has anyone dealt with something like this? As hard as it was to get him to go in the first place, I feel like he's going to take this and run with it and say he doesn't need a machine, end of story. But I still need sleep!!

Has anyone had further talks with a doctor snoring that isn't necessarily apnea related? What did they do/say/suggest?
