I go through spurts with the Sims 3, and lately this utterly ridiculous fashion app game on my phone. D plays Magic The Gathering online pretty much nightly.

When I was younger my brother & I were addicted to RPGs!!! Final Fantasy and Silent Hill!
Not anymore though. FB games annoy me. Friends who keep requesting me to play FB games annoy the heck out of me.

Yep, for spurts as well. I played Mafia Wars, Farmville, Minion Rush, etc. for short periods of time. I still frequently play Words with Friends.

@locavore_mama: I block the game apps when I get requests. So much easier to deal with.

That was my childhood! I beat it 100% with no cheats or anything!!!
Also my mom was addicted to it too lol. She used to stay up late playing it.

I used to religiously play World of Warcraft with Hubs (and my brother and some of our other friends). I played for 5+ years before I quit.
Then I had an addiction to FarmVille and Mafia Wars. And I was semi-addicted to Candy Crush.
Now I have no gaming addictions!

@Mrs. High Heels: oh how could i forget Tetris? And Dr Mario!!?
I also placed Starcraft religiously during college. I used to work in the computer labs, and I would close off a lab at night so all my friends and I could lock ourselves in there and play all night. *nerd alert!

Tetris, back in the day. My girlfriends and I would have sleepovers and play Tetris all night in high school

I played The Sims for awhile. I basically used rosebud to cheat and become a millionaire, then build my Sim a house and remove the door. Hmm... It's probably a good thing I stopped playing.

@snowjewelz: @pui: Oh man, Crash Bandicoot!! I was obsessed with it in that I begged my dad to play it so I could watch. I was (and am) terribly afraid to play video games myself, but my sister and I would sit for hours cheering my dad on for that game.

@swurlygurl: Now that I think about it there were def "scary" sections (I think one level was in the dark or something), but I was already in HS so I could handle it hahaha. The one I couldn't play but wanted to watch back then was Resident Evil!

Oh very much so, haha. I was always a gamer, though I don't play nearly as much now with a toddler to take care of. But pre-baby I played a number of addictive MMOs, and I have always loved console games too. My most recent addictive game was Skyrim haha.. so immersive. We just got a Wii U so I mostly play that or 3DS games (or mobile games like Farm Heroes Saga while I'm nursing) but I wouldn't say they are addictive, I just play them a few times a week.

@dreamocracy: ugh. I just started playing skyrim a couple months ago. Good-bye life.

Mario Party (#). Simple controls and loved the game. I would be the game in like a week. Oops. I know it's not a hard game but I would unlock everything and what not.

I went insane over several but the big ones were God of War and Fable! Fable especially consumed me!

Farmville, Mofia Wars, Running with Bulls, Candy Crush.
I'm sick of game requests so I stop my addiction with anything the requires me to reach out to my FB friends.
Years ago, back when we played games on computers, I was in to Age of Empires and Acrophobia.
I recently got reminded of Age of Empires and now I'm playing Game of War on iphone/ipad. Luckily, it doesn't use FB requests.

Yep... I had a colecovision console and I was obsessed with Qbert. Then I got Atari and I loved pitfall.
I still like the old games best, lol.

Oh man, I have been addicted to so many games... but the one I was addicted to most of all was a MMORPG called Puzzle Pirates. I played for....4 years? Like, every day, for hours. I met my first long term boyfriend on there. Haha. I went to a meet-up too! I still have several really close friends from my time there.
After that, any Zelda game, lego games, Paper Mario. My DH and I are big gamers so we play a ton.

@abbydabbydoodlebug: OMG! I loooooooved puzzle pirates. I never made it very far though. It was when money + computer games were really starting to rise and I just didn't get it/have money. ha!

@.twist.: I started a new game of Skyrim a few months ago but had to pry myself away from it because I wasn't doing anything for house upkeep because I spent my daughter's naptime/bedtime playing! It is so damn fun though! And lots of replay value
