Our table is pretty funky but I hadn't thought about replacing until my friend said they are on their third. Now I'm like, Hmmm... maybe we need a new one... Do you have an older one or do you replace those outdoor toys?

We are on our second water table. We left the first one outside for 2 years before it started cracking. We put the newer one in the garage after every use so it still looks new!

We never did - we power washed it each summer and it looked brand new! (We also kept it inside during the winter)

I told DH last weekend, we need to throw it away. It is nasty, LO1 never plays with it. I will ask someone to get it for LO2's bday and then save till next summer.

Kept it in the shed over the winter and it's a little gross but I scrubbed it with baking soda/vinegar.

We power washed ours and it's definitely not good as new but it's clean enough for what we use it for.

We have a cover for ours so it isn't very dirty, and we empty it if we know we won't be playing with it for a while. Pro tip - a round fire pit cover with elastic edges fits perfectly over a water table! We have this one that was $10 -

@HappyBaker: omg! I've looked for a cover before with no luck so this is brilliant! Ours is on our balcony of our apt up 20 stories and gets so so gross, but there's nowhere to store it inside. Luckily lo1 likes to help clean it! We usually just use wet paper towels and dish soap.

With how much we spent on this one: http://www.instructables.com/id/Water-Table-for-the-Kids/ I hope we never have to replace it....
We empty it out and put all the pipes inside when we're done playing for a few days. Every now and then we soak it in a bleach water solution and it is has been fine.
