The last time he cried was at our daughter's birth. It was really moving to see. His grandmother (who was his primary caregiver) passed last April, and he cried then. I've made him cry a fair few times too, during arguments. I'm kind of a meanie. Ok, I'm pretty vicious sometimes. But not in a derogatory way, more in the "you-only-care-about-yourself" way. We haven't had one of those talks in quite a while now

Only a couple of times he has gotten misty, but he really cried the day our son was born because he was so thankful we were both okay after going through a bit of time where he thought he was going to lose both of us.

I think maybe two times. Once when a relative died, and then I can recall maybe one other time over something else...

My husband is more than 20 years older than me and I think he is just from the generation where men hid their tears. I've seen him sad and I've seen him elated. When our son was born he just kept staring at him, holding him and his eyes were teary but it was a happy teary. He likes being the strong provider type plus I cry enough for both of us

Ive only seen my husband cry once.
When we were told his grandmother had 48 hours to live due to an infection.
(she survived the 48 hours and is still going strong)

I saw him cry at my grandmothers funeral and services.
It was super hard to see him break down. Made me feel so helpless.

I've seen DH cry plenty of times. We've been together for over 8 years, we started dating while still in high school so we were very immature and fought a lot. He is kind of emotional so he has a hard time holding it back. It actually happened a few days ago when we got into a huge fight, he got upset after realizing how much he hurt me. This doesn't happen often, it's probably been over a year or two since he's cried during a fight. He also cried on our wedding day when we did our first look, that cry was sweet =)

DH and I have been together almost 6 years and the only time I have seen him cry is when his teenage brother was killed in an accident last year. He was at work when he got the call and rushed home to pick me up. As soon as he walked in the door he broke down in my arms.
His eyes were misty on our wedding day but he didn't shed any tears.

He cried on our wedding day when I said my vows. And he cried when he saw the first ultrasound and our little girl waved at him...those are the only times in 4 years but I am sure there will be more.
