Do you do one? If so, how much do you give as a stipend? We did not for our first year with our nanny, but I'd like to pay something each month for it this year.

My bosses pay all of my health insurance because they get a tax credit. They told me they had to pay all of my health insurance in order to get the tax credit but I would look into it and double check. I just hand them my bill and they send a check directly to my health insurance.

@travelingnanny: this didn't even occur to me! I just emailed our accountant. It looks like 50% of the cost of her plan would be tax deductible. But that is a great benefit to her and to us. Thanks!
