If you have an HVAC person come out to your house and you have multiple units, do you expect their service fee will cover servicing both units?

Nope. We just installed a new unit in the basement and they came a couple weeks later for one of the bi-annual service on the main unit. We just paid for the maintenance on one unit like always.

No...I would expect to pay 2 service fees. One for each unit. They have to run their service on each unit separately, which will take double the time, so I expect 2 fees.

@Smurfette: @2PeasinaPod: @rattles: @Truth Bombs: thanks! I wasn't sure - we had never had to have multiple units serviced before and we weren't sure what would be/wouldn't be covered. I felt like only one would be covered in a service fee but my husband thought maybe they both would be.
