I agree with get fancy first! That would be something the girls can start if not everyone is there at first. Plus it will be fun to see them all dressed up for the rest of the party.

On the spending $10, what if you have a couple of preset options that total the amount? My 6 year old would be wandering forever and would have a difficult time with the pricing, especially if things end in cents.

Let them get fancy while they arrive. Then let them start on crafts (again I would do all three at the same time assuming the supplies are all similar).

My daughter loves learning some of the french fancy words. Could you maybe have a guessing game about the french words? Like match Merci to Thank you?

@Mamaof2: Oh, and I know what would happen, let's assume it was a pair of pierced earrings and no pierced ears, and then my kid would be like I want 1000 things and I'd have to spend money to make up the difference, lol.
