I think we have our baby boy names narrowed down to two but we're having a hard time deciding. The little man is set to arrive in 7 weeks so we'd like to come to a decision. We like something that is a little older and not super common but still has "cool" factor. Currently our top two contenders are Micah and Theo. Do you like one better than the other? If so, why? Our first sons name is Wade so we also want the name to "fit well" with that. Middle name will most like be John or Jo (both family names).

If you have a one syllable name for #1, would you consider one syllable for #2? Teague was on my list for a long time. Another friend named her son Dax (which I don't particularly care for).
I like both the ones you've selected, though-- neither one more than the other. Except that Theo doesn't go with John or Jo.

I actually really like both. Although I feel like Theo is more of a nickname than a full name. (If I heard it, I would assume his name was Theodore. Which I also like). For middle, not that you asked, I prefer John. Jo seems a bit feminine to me. Unless you spelled it Joe of course

I think Theo and Wade sound really good as siblings, Theo John has a good flow, not a fan of Theo Jo (sounds kind of feminine to me.)

I love both of these names but DH said no to both for any future LOs. So I say you can't go wrong either way! I maybe like Micah a little more.

@linzeelou: Maybe if you went with Joe spelling? I don't know, I guess I'm bias, my middle name is Jo (as is several female family members) so I see it and the spelling as feminine (even though I know it can be both)

I like Micah better. If you go with Theo, I would like the full name if Theodore and Theo as a nickname. I think Micah John sounds nice and classic.
