Help! I'm going tonight to my husband's work dinner, and I want to wear a navy sweater that is tunic-length. The dinner is too nice for jeans, but I don't know what other pants to wear with it. Can I wear black leggings and black boots?

I wouldn’t do Navy over Black. My favorite with Navy is either a nice winter white, or like a wine color... do you have any pants in those colors?

my pants wardrobe is super basic. White would have looked good but the sweater has pinkish flowers at the top, so a wine color wouldn't work.

My 1st thought was camel color pants. I wouldn’t do Navy and black.

My first thought was wine or khaki/camel, but black is good, too. I have a navy dress that I just wore with black leggings and grey boots and it looked really cute!

Thanks, everyone! Camel would have been good, too. I panicked and wore a different top so that I could do the black pants and boots
