At DD's 2 year check-up today her doctor said that her BMI is in the 86th percentile (50th for weight and 80th for weight) and that it's at the top end where he'd want to see it. I was honestly pretty shocked that it was so high! Even though she was born a big baby (99th percentile for both weight and height), we had a bit of trouble putting weight on her the first 18 months, and at her 18 month appointment she was only in the 20-25th percentile for weight and height.

We were busy doing DS's two week check at the same time so I didn't really stop to ask any questions. I guess we just make sure she's staying active and eating balanced, but I'm curious if anyone else has been told this about their toddler and what you did/how it all worked out?
