Has anyone ever fallen or hit their bump hard? DD ran over my foot with her trike and I fell into the corner of our dining room table pretty hard/directly on my bump. I'm 38 weeks and starting to freak myself out.

I am sure everything will be ok. Have you felt the baby move? Personally I would go in, better safe then sorry. I am a huge worry wart.

@MrsH: Have you drank some cold water or juice and done your kick count?

I'm sure all is ok, they are pretty protected in there, but I'm a worry wart and it can't hurt to get checked!

My sister fell and didn't hit her stomach around 38 weeks but they still wanted her checked out over placental abruption concerns. I'm super laid back about this stuff but I would call for peace of mind at this point.

I had falls during both pregnancies and got checked out both times. I would definitely call.

@MrsRcCar: Admitted to the hospital overnight to monitor contractions that started afterwards. Back home now. Better safe than sorry!
