I always order all my prints and cards from Mpix. They have the best quality I've ever found. They are more expensive than some of the others like shutterfly, but I think it's worth it for the print quality.

@Foodnerd81: I have never personally used Minted, but I have gotten cards from other people from there. From what I have seen, I think that the quality about the same.

We plan on order magnet cards from Mpix. This will be our first time trying it, but I really like the idea of being able to immediately stick them on the fridge. We don’t have a ton of people to send them to, so the cost isn’t too high for us.

@Foodnerd81: I don’t know, I used them several years ago but I’ve never used Shutterfly so I’m not sure.

I just used simply to impress for our birth announcements. I haven’t gotten them yet so I’m not sure what the quality will be. I was going to say that the downside is that there is no free addressing like with minted they charge a lot per envelope to add it. But it sounds like that’s not an issue for you so I wouldn’t worry about it. Just another option to look into.

We always use Simply to Impress as well. They have good coupon codes. I also love you can log on and see past year's cards.

Don't mean to thread-jack, but does anyone recommend a place to order actual photograph prints that are high-quality? The pictures from when I was a kid that we used to get developed are on really nice thick paper, everything I've seen around feels like tissue paper by comparison. I think I'm going to do a real picture and a letter this year instead of a design-y card.

@LCTBQE: I have also heard the same about mpix (recommended by my newborn photographer and often recommended in photography facebook group that i am in).

I've ordered cards and invitations from zazzle.com a few times and have been pleasantly surprised at the quality. Their price is usually cheaper than other sites.

I got an email from Chatbooks today that they have cards for $1 each and include back printing and return address printed so I may try those.

@LCTBQE: mpix is what my photographer sister recommends. Just got a bunch of photos printed for a photo wall I’m doing and they are great quality. If you sign up for their emails, they frequently have 25% off prints.

We used Paper Culture for our holiday cards for the last two years but we’ll probably do Minted this year.
