@Hoots: @travellingbee: @sheskrafty: @angelachase: @Eko: @loki: Thanks so much ladies!! Hoping that all the August POASers join me in April babies!!
@KelLeeLeee: You were right, I should have! I was convinced I wouldn't be POAS this month!

i'm so excited we have our first BFP... even if it is technically a July BFP sign of things to come!
ok who wants to do more insane symptom spotting with me?
this morning at 4am i was jolted awake with the worst nausea. i also had a raging headache. i couldn't get back to sleep so needless to say, i'm exhausted today. when i consult dr google, of course there are other people out there who have been woken up by nausea around 10dpo and got BFPs... thoughts?!?!
pomegranate / 3314 posts
@loki: Well, if you're 10dpo today, you might just want to test? Sounds promising - fx for you.
Charting question for you ladies: got my temp jump yesterday morning, which is in line for when my expected o time would be, given positive OPKs, cervical fluid, etc. But this morning I had a bit of a drop. Am I wrong in thinking that the temp should continue to remain high? Drop wasn't seriously significant - from 98 down to 97.7. I'm just worried that something is off.

@loki: I am right there with you. Yesterday I had on and off bouts of nausea and light headedness. Today it feels like my ankle's are really swollen and stiff...it's weird. I've never had nausea so bad that it woke me up though. Everyone tests differently though. You could possibly get a at 10DPO, but I have never been so lucky, even with symptoms.
nectarine / 2465 posts
@meredithNYC: is it still above cover line? If it is, I wouldn't be worried, my temps fluctuate sometimes too.
pear / 1787 posts
@meredithNYC: you're a bad influence! haha. i'm trying to hold off as long as possible... i might cave and test Thurs or Fri if i don't feel like AF is coming.
@Eko: ya i go back and forth and sometimes i'm CONVINCED i'm out and then i'm like... wtf... up at 4am with nausea?!?! this HAS to be something, right?!?! but i don't wanna test and get a neg and be disappointed... we'll see how long i can last!
hostess / papaya / 10219 posts
@meredithNYC: no it doesn't mean anything as long as it still above the cover line. Your temperature goes up and down even when you're pregnant.
@loki: you have some serious willpower, girl! With my first BFP I had nausea at 8DPO I think. Tested at 10 dpo.
pear / 1787 posts
@travellingbee: i wanna get to at least August 1. Maybe i'll move my POAS date up a day. i should have major AF symptoms by then so i think i'll know if it's coming or not.
@meredithNYC: also, sorry i didn't answer your temp question... i know nothing about charting so i'm no help there!
nectarine / 2148 posts
@loki: the TWW is definitely a cold b***h. I have already broken down and POAS'd and am likely to do so before my official POAS date. I'll probably end up testing tomorrow morning and see what happens.

@SeptMomma12: @auggiefrog: Thanks so much!
@meredithNYC: My temps usually dipped a little after my temp rise, either 2 or 3DPO I saw a small dip, I think that its perfectly normal!

@loki: Weird! I also woke up at 4 am for no reason at all! I ended up getting up & going to barre class at 7 am because I was wide awake and could tell I would not be falling back asleep. My temp also jumped back up by .4 this morning. This is my least favorite stretch of the TWW (6-10 DPO), when I know that it's plausible that I COULD be feeling some effects by now.

As much as I'm trying to NTNP this cycle, I know way too much about my body/O signs, so pretty sure I O'ed yesterday, or am O'ing today. Going away this weekend, and I start my new job Monday, so this tww should fly by

@angelachase: so bizarre! you felt ok though? ya i'm totally overanalysing every little thing. good for you for going to barre that early. i still have to leave the house at 630 for work soooo i showered at 5 then lay in bed until i had to get up. it didn't help that i felt on the verge of puking. i actually lay in the guest room because i felt so awful and didn't wanna disturb DH. weirdddd.
@KelLeeLeee: haha ya i imagine once you know what you know, there is no going back!!! good luck at the new job!

@happybluebird: congrats!!
I am 7dpo and have no symptoms! Wish I could symptom spot with you ladies!!
hostess / papaya / 10219 posts
Wishing I was having some symptoms. 6dpo & nothing going on…
apricot / 306 posts
@loki: Yeah, I felt fine, it wasn't nausea that woke me up. I just woke up!
@Runnergirl: @travellingbee: I really feel nothing at 6DPO either. A few random little twinges and pangs, nothing out of the ordinary for me.

@happybluebird: That is one dark line! Happy for you!
As far as symptom spotting goes I drove my self insane for three months in a row so this month I didn't. I have pretty hardcore PMS symptoms including sore breasts, nausea, fatigue, appetite changes, etc. My symptoms this month are right on track with my normal PMS symptoms so I'm not getting my hopes up. Good luck to everyone this month!

@travellingbee: @Runnergirl: @angelachase: 6 dpo and no symptoms here either.
However @loki: I'd like to move my POAS to August 4. My peak came earlier than expected.
I don't see any reason to wait to POAS. Plus, if we are not successful, we will start Clomid next month.

@KelLeeLeee: i just realized i messed up the list again. is 8/11 your POAS date?! i'll correct it asap!

Ok August POAS-ers, can you help me figure out O? My cycle was so regular, then of course we start ttc and the last 2 cycles I have been tracking have been wonky!!
I am trying OPKs this month. I'm wondering if I missed it or if its still to come?
I'm on CD 21. I did OPKs in the evening on cd day 17, 19, 20. It was a darker line 17, then a bit lighter on cd 19, then almost no line last night on CD 20. So did I miss??
I had some watery cm on cd 16, but not the normal cm that I usually see on cd 19 which has been the norm for me.
Sorry. This is going on too long. And I know temping is the only real way to know.....
nectarine / 2465 posts
@hellobeeboston: is cd 16 the only day you saw fertile cm? You likely missed your surge, it's easy to do if you have a short surge!
kiwi / 631 posts
@hellobeeboston: Based in your OPK's, you probably would have gotten a positive on day 18, and ovulation usually occurs 12-48 hours after that. Is this your first cycle using OPK's? I usually use then at least once a day between CD 14 and when I O, if not at the morning and night when I know I'm getting close to O.
This is my second cycle trying, and all of the sudden my cycle is a little screwed up as well. I got a positive OPK on CD17, two days later than usual. I also temp, and FF decided that, based on my temps I O'ed on that day as well. I hope I really didn't O until CD17, we didn't start getting busy until the day before.

@Tidybee: haha you're an enabler!!! tomorrow was my original POAS date. you guys might have talked me into it. i'll see how i'm feeling tomorrow. i'm just so scared of getting a negative but holding out hope anyways... ya know?
hostess / papaya / 10219 posts
@hellobeeboston: What day had you been Oing on in previous cycles? What kind of OPK are you using? How dark was the line on cd 17? I may have missed my surge this cycle if I wasn't taking multiple OPKs per day...
pomegranate / 3314 posts
@KelLeeLeee: I have to admit, I'm not entirely sure how to do the cover line. However, I believe it is above?
@hellobeeboston: I'm not entirely sure re: OPK's, but I will say that I just finally (in my third cycle of using them) feel like I got a clear positive. I find them weirdly confusing! Though to be honest, so much of TTC is confusing to me . What kind are you using?
