Just wondering!
Do you use any special cleaners/polishers?

Nothing special. I use a kitchen cleaner if I got raw meat on them. If I just want to clean them up/get rid of streaks I use water on a microfiber cloth.

I just usually wipe up spills with a sponge and warm soapy water and use some granite wipes we got from Ace about once a week. The granite wipes probably are not the most cost effective/healthy, but oh well.
Here's some good info on cleaning granite: http://www.thekitchn.com/how-to-clean-and-disinfect-granite-countertops-cleaning-lessons-from-the-kitchn-202159

I use a spray specifically for granite. I use a homemade vinegar cleaner on appliances but I don't think you're supposed to use it on granite.

I use a cloth or sponge with hot soapy water most of the time and I also have a couple of all purpose cleaners (Method and Fruits & Passion) and the Method granite cleaner.

We use a special stone product (the vendor for DH's company recommends Marblelife). DH might kill me if I use vinegar because it would etch the granite. I've asked him about other things and he's barely okay with me using a basic Method spray or Mrs. Meyers.

We're buying a house with granite...thanks for the thread!
What type of routine (annual?) upkeep do you do to seal the granite?

I work for an apartment complex and the contractors let us know that residents should clean the granite with a little bit of dishwashing soap and a damp, soft rag. Definitely don't use anything citrus-scented as that can break down the granite.
