LO is getting sick with her THIRD cold of the season, and I seriously can't afford to catch it from her (hosting 10 high schoolers at my house all weekend). Any tips or tricks to ward off this cold? Help!

Hand washing, spraying everything with vinegar (surfaces, door handles etc to disinfect), water, green tea, sleep, humidifier, kale, spinach, garlic...

How old is LO? I know it sounds weird, but Sambucol (black elderberry extract) seems to help. There probably is a kid's version, I'm just not sure down to what age.
Oh...and definitely seconding the hydration, hand-washing, and humidifier use.

Zinc lozenges and oil of oregano. Does the tricky almost every time!

@redsmarties: Ugh. I just caught a cold from DH. I wish someone had started this thread on Saturday! No good suggestions, but I sincerely hope you manage to stave off getting sick!
