My favorite way is to throw a few pieces of chicken in the mixer and let it go to town with the paddle attachment.

Mixer for me too! I hated doing the fork method so I avoided shredded chicken recipes until I discovered the mixer.

I don't have a mixer so I use a fork. I cook it in the crock pot so it's super easy to shred.

I usually put on cooking gloves and shred with my hands.

Hands. Not that I do the shredding lol. That's what my mom & DH would do.

Either forks or my fingers. Never would have thought about using the mixer. Though right now that's just a bigger pain in the butt than is worth it - whenever I need to use it, I have to move it from where I store it (serious lack of counter space), and that sucker is HEAVY. But in our next home, hopefully I'll have counter space and can try that method!

with a fork. I don't like putting it in the mixer because it gets TOO shredded for our preference.

DH uses two forks. I hate shredding for some reason! I think your mixer trick might actually change my life...

Mixer. I can't believe I shredded with forks for so long...nothing shreds finer than the mixer!

I make it in the crock pot, and shred with two forks. A mixer is on my wish list to take over this chore for me
