Do you do something special for your SO, or do they do something special for you? Or do you not celebrate.
We haven't celebrated since having kids - but our anniversary is in a few weeks and we'll do something big for that!

DH usually does something special for me I usually do something for him on Sweetest Day. Another Hallmark holiday.
We're not doing anything crazy this year because he went all out last year and I told him to keep it low key!
Flowers, choco, and dinner out with a gift card we have-- and we'll be going early with DS

We buy each other something small or something we know we've been wanting/needing. We get our lo something, too.

We don't celebrate because DH hates it and I don't care enough to put up a fuss.
This year is the first year I'm acknowledging it because DD 1 is almost 3. So like it or not, we're going to start celebrating it as a family. But I won't get her gifts till next year.

We just do cards, candy, flowers.
This year we're doing an overnight trip together since dhs parents agreed to stay with our daughter. Super excited about our date! We have reservations at a nice restaurant and we'll get to sleep in on sunday!

We usually get cards for each other. He gets me flowers so I get a little something as his flowers. Then we cook dinner together. Which we have done every year since we have been together. I have zero desire to go out to dinner.

I'll buy DH a card, we got DD a present, and we are celebrating at a hotel swimming for our Goddaughter's 4th birthday party. WE will probably do a bigger meal on Friday to "celebrate" but we really don't go all out. I told DH to save all the "little" presents for one big present after I have baby, I want a DSLR. So between Valentine's Day, push present, 30th birthday, anniversary, and mother's day all in the next 4 months I think I deserve it

It's different every year, depending on how we feel. This year I guess we're feeling lazy (and I'm tired all the time.) We're not doing anything. Fine w/ me. If we were in the US I might at least buy him some cute stuff, but ah well.

Low key - we stay home and celebrate as a family - no gifts but DH usually gets me flowers.

We don't really celebrate but we are actually going to try and go out this Saturday to dinner and a movie. I'm not big on the holiday though.

We usually just do a card and some candy. I took the day off tomorrow so we're going to lunch and a movie. Papa John's is having a Vday special which includes a heart-shaped pizza and brownie so I think we're going to order that Saturday night

Usually just a card. But this year we got a babysitter, and we are going out to lunch on Saturday!

@mrbee: We don't really celebrate Valentine's Day. But we do have a 'love day' some other random day throughout the year. Works well for us.

We don't really celebrate.. I never want to go out for dinner, but we might eat something nice at home like steak, seafood, etc.

We usually skip. Occasionally my husband cooks a fancy dinner. I think it's a silly holiday and am happy to just celebrate our anniversary instead.
