Hi! This is my first post on Hellobee (yay!)
I am curious to find out how long it was after you went off birth control that you got pregnant? My friend and I were talking about this today and I know it will be different for everyone.. but I just thought I would ask around a little bit more!

I got pregnant my first cycle off BC. It was 4 weeks after my mirena was gone that I got my positive.

Oh wow, alright! I had always kind of assumed it took a lot longer (which I'm sure it does for a lot of women)
Another question for you all then if you don't mind.. While on BC were you always regular with your periods?
I'm just curious because I have always been very regular and am thinking about the possibility of going off BC soon-ish because we will probably start TTC within the next year or so..

@cyndistar3: Oh you lucky duck! haha I think if that happened to me I would be constantly be freaking out thinking I was pregnant..
Well that pretty much squashed any idea of how long it would take.. guess it will just happen when it happens!

I was off bc for four months. For two of those, we were careful. It took two of trying to get pg.

I got pregnant on my 3rd cycle. I had very regular periods on BC but they became somewhat irregular once I was off

For me it was my first cycle.
But I had stopped 7 months prior and tried for about 5 months. Then we decided to go back on the pill. Then I had no more and my doc was on vacation, so ya, I got pregnant in that 1 month time frame.

I had my Mirena taken out in May, in part because I had not gotten a period in the 3 years I had it in, and so had no idea when my cycles were. I immediately went back to an extremely regular 30 day cycle, and we used other methods of birth control until September, when I decided to try charting since I was so regular. Well, got pregnant in September! So, while it was 4 months after removing b/c, it was on the first month of not using any method of protection.

I stopped taking my BC early for various reasons, charted for 7 months to be careful, and got pregnant on the first cycle of trying during month 8 off of BCP.

Second cycle for me. I took my last pill on August 31st and got pregnant in October. My periods on the pill were very regular. Im not looking forward to the return of that. I havent had it in over a year now!

After being on BC for over 15 years, I was shocked to find that my cycle stayed exactly the same once I was off the patch. It was great!

10 months after stopping birth control for us. In contrast, my SIL ended up with twins their first month of trying. It truly is different for everyone.
