Doing them for the second time today right now. Honestly sometimes I wonder if the dishes are breeding and having dish babies, because I don't even know where all the dishes come from!
How many times a day do you do the dishes?

So many times! my husband refuses to put plastic in the dishwasher so I feel like there are always dishes to do! Maybe a sign we need less plastic.
If it were up to me, every damn thing would go into the dishwasher!

We rely heavily on the dishwasher, so I generally only end up handwashing once, after dinner.

Weekdays really just once, unless we used a lot of stuff to prep breakfast I'd squeeze in washing dishes before leaving for work. Then it's just after dinner. But throughout the night I'd wash a cup, a bowl, anything that I use. I don't like leaving things there!

LOL! I know it, the dishes just pile up so I always wash after each meal. I always warm food up in glass or ceramic in the microwave. Then for DD I transfer the food to one of her plates.

My husband usually does them once in the morning. We have a dishwasher, so he usually unloads and reloads or just loads more into it and runs it, depending on the day.

Oh lord. I feel like such a slacker. We seriously dont even do them every day.

Either no times or like, two or three times. Depending on how the day is going...! Less bow that LO is at a school that has a no food-in policy.

@loveisstrange: I don't either - if I know I'm working at home the next day, I might let them go...and I'll do them that day after lunch or something.

@loveisstrange: I'm with you on this one, we just do them every couple of days or as the dish washer gets full. But we rinse everything before it goes in the dishwasher.

After every meal, which means on weekends, three times a day, and during the week, sometimes just once.
Maybe you need LESS dishes, not more?

Once a day---but I just mean that once a day (usually right when I get home from work) I go around the house and pick up every random cup and what-not and stick it in the dishwasher.
Pots and pans I clean once a day, also usually after work.

We have a dishwasher, so that does most of the work. We only really wash pots/pans and Xander's dishes. So during the week, only once at night. On the weekends, we'll wash Xander's dishes after each meal, but there's only like 4-5 things to wash, so it's not a big deal.

Too many! And we don't have a dish washer. I am the dishwasher!!!! I make my husband help on weekends but he is so lazy and just let's them pile up and get gross so even then I usually end up doing more. I really hate it but c'est la vie!

Usually just once or maybe twice, depending. We occasionally wash them up/put them in the dishwasher after dinner, or the next morning I'll wash pots/pans from the night before. I hate hand-washing dishes and our apartment didn't have a dishwasher, so we got a portable one! Lifesaver!

Once, at night, we load the dishwasher. That's why we have a giant sink! It's always overflowing by the time I get to the dishes after dinner.

I do them at night. I do have some dishes that happen because of lunch prep and breakfast, and soooometimes I'll do them that morning, but more likely, I do them before I make dinner and then after dinner.

We use our dishwasher for storage.. and I'm totally spoiled because I may do the dishes twice maybe three times a week. DH is usually the one that washes them. I hate dishes! But I could do laundry all day lol. I don't know why I find it relaxing to get clothes clean and folded and put away

We have a dishwasher so we usually run it once/day (after dinner) and unload it in the morning. We didn't have a dishwasher in our last house so we used paper plates unless we had company...I hate washing dishes by hand!

I am a clean as you go person, so pretty much as I use something. Often a pan will soak in the sink overnight, but that's it. I don't tolerate disorder in my kitchen, especially. Also, I would go nuts without a dishwasher! Props to those of you who handwash everything. I think I'd throw out all but a single dish for each of us, so that nothing could build up.

At least two, often three. But it's waaaaay better compared to when my twins were on bottles 8 times a day!
