Around $20 - 25. It's hard to find anything decent for less than, I feel...

My favorite gift is less than $10--a glow in the dark bath. Fill a little bucket with 5 or 6 packs of glow sticks/glowing toys and some bubble bath from the Dollar Tree. Always loved and super cheap!

LO is turning 3 this year and is with a group of fall/winter birthdays so this has become a question for us too! Her classroom is full of puzzles so we have so far done wooden Melissa and Doug puzzles ($10) and once a dress up kit ($20) for a "better" friend.
@owlmom: I think art supplies are a great idea and am considering this for the November parties!

I'm confused, they have birthday parties AT daycare? You have to buy every child in the class a gift at some point in the year???
I've never heard of this... If I had to do this for DDs daycare class, I would spend like 5$ per kid?? Even that seems ridiculous...
If we were going to their actual birthday party outside of daycare, then we would come with a bigger gift ($25-30)

Do you mean if you go to a party of a classmate outside of school? I'd spend $20-$25.
