The kids are on vacation from Dec 24 - Jan 4. We'll be in LA for most of that time visiting my parents.
We'll post less over the holidays, but I'd love to hear how much time you have off!

DH only has Christmas day and a half day Christmas eve. I'm happy it's not less (like years past!)

DH and I have from 20 Dec - 4 Jan off. However, I'm also on call, so if there is a server failure in my building, I'll have to go in. But I would get the day of leave back in the new year. I just have to stay within a few hours drive. Luckily, the ILs live 2 hours away, and we have friends that we were planning to visit 2 hours in the other direction.

Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, taking Friday off, then back to work until NYD. LO stays with my parents from after Christmas to New Year's. Our offices are open with the encouragement of taking days off, but generally we don't.

I technically only have Christmas Day and New Year's Day off, but everyone (literally allll of my coworkers) will be out next week, so my boss told me I could "work remotely." We'll be flying out to my parents house for the week. I didn't know this until thanksgiving and assumed we'd be spending the holidays away from family, so everyone was super excited when that changed

I'm a SAHM. My DH is taking 5 business days off. When you factor in the 3 holidays and weekends, he gets from Christmas Eve to January 5th off.

I have Christmas Eve until Jan 5 off.
Only because I started a new job this week and had told them I was available to start Jan 5. They wanted me sooner so we negotiated to those days off. They are all unpaid but that is ok with me.

I'll be putting my away message on my email starting on Friday the 19th til the new year. Big rush on photos for the holidays and then I relax!

We'll close at noon on Christmas Eve, closed Christmas and the day after, and we'll be closed New Year's Day. My son has the 19th - 6th off of school. Oh and my very last paid day is 12-31

Half of Christmas Eve, all of Christmas and I am using PTO for the 26th. I get Jan 1 off and am using PTO for the 31st as well.

My work is closed after this Friday until the first full week of the new year (the 5th? whatever that Monday is). Not sure of DH's schedule yet, but at least I'm pretty sure the store where he works is closed on Christmas day.

I'm a teacher so I get 3 weeks, from December 20 - January 11. My husband is a doctor and took vacation time during 2 of the 3 weeks I'll be off.

I finish up this Friday. I'm going in on the 30th just to check on stuff, but otherwise I'm off for two weeks.

I WAH, but I'm taking all of next week off and then daycare is closed the following week, so I probably won't work much then either.

I have until Jan 12th. LO's last day at daycare is on Friday. She'll be home with us until I go back to school. It'll be a cozy, crazy time with a very opinionated 2 year old
Especially since I have 2 papers and an exam to study for!

I get 6 days off and that includes Xmas Eve and Xmas, Wednesday-Monday. I do have to work NYE and New Year's Day but am very excited to have Xmas off.

I'm a SAHM but DH finishes up work on Friday the 19th and then has the next two weeks off. His industry (engineering and construction) always has a two week shutdown over Christmas and New Years - it's nice knowing he always has those two weeks off.

@Mrs. Bee: I'm a teacher so my last day is this Friday and I go back January 12th.

I am leaving Friday at 1:30 and not coming back till Jan 2nd. DH doesn't do back till the 5th. I only had to use 5 vacations days though.

DH has Christmas off - he usually takes off the week between Christmas and New Year's but he's saving his time off for when baby arrives.
I'm just working as needed (have my own business) until I officially close for maternity leave. -
We only get off Christmas Day and NY's day. DH is off 12/23-12/26. Daycare is closed 12/24-12/26 and 1/1-1/2. I am taking 5 days of PTO to combine everything and will be off work 12/23-1/2, returning on 1/5. So excited for such a long break!

We pulled our lo from daycare for 2 weeks starting Monday. She will start a new school on Jan 5. I have Tues afternoon through Sunday off Christmas week and Thursday through Sunday off New Years week. PTO.

Dec 24-26 and New years day. The 26th was a nice surprise, as I was planning on taking that off anyway but instead get a free paid day.

My office is closed December 25-26 and January 1-2. I gave my notice for a new job, so I'll be working from home starting on the 23rd with my last official day as the 31st.
