Our youngest is taking her sweet time... she's three in October, but has zero interest in potty training! Wait that's not true: she loves to sit on the potty... she just hasn't figured out that she's supposed to go on it. We'll just give it some more time, and see how she does!

22 months! Shes very independent so for her to figure out that she could 'control' all of it, she took charge!

24 months - we did the 3 day bottomless method a week after she turned 2 bc it was a 3 day weekend and my mom was able to come help me

23 months. One day she just decided she was done (except for times of sleep) with diapers.

30 months and 32 months .. My DS was not interested at all either and would wear the potty seat as a hat, etc. Then he suddenly started complaining about the diaper, etc. and we knew he was ready.

28 months. One day she told me no more diapers & that was that. She had been sitting on the potty for about 4-6 months before that.

27 months. We didn't really wait for her to be ready. We just chose a good weekend when we were ready. It might have taken her longer to fully get it because we dictated the timeline instead of her... but it seems to have worked!

She's 28 months and not fully potty trained yet. She's pee trained...still working on the poop. I wish it was the other way around!

26 months. DS1 was potty trained out of necessity because he had a horrible irritating rash that bothered him so much. Not even the expensive $300 prescription cream could help him. Luckily it only took about two days, and he was fully trained for day and night.

23 months. He was interested for a couple months but when we visited with his 4 year old cousin he was all about it. We bought a potty and planned to try after his birthday because of vacation and summer plans. Once he saw the potty there was no going back, we started on a Tuesday evening! A couple weeks in and we only use pull ups for sleeping.

Tor is exactly like Olive. Loves to sit on the potty and loves his potty books and DVDs but just isn't into using the potty et. He is only 2 next week but I have a feeling he will be a while.

@skibobrown: we didn't wait for any signs of readiness either - we just figured she was in the age range where the 3 day bottomless method works and we wanted to give it a shot.

26 months. @sandy: @skibobrown: Same here. We waited until we knew she could do it but we initiated everything. She was showing zero signs of readiness, but she caught on super quickly!

Ds is starting to show signs and peed randomly last wk in his potty. We'll probably train at 2 years. Hes 21 mths now

2 weeks before her 2nd bday.. Although she showed readiness way earlier.
Ordered a potty for DS earlier today. Thinking about potty training when he's 21-22 months old.

We didn't start til he was 3 1/2 It was hard to train him earlier as he wasn't ready and then we had a newborn. I think its hard to do anytime but I do think because he was older it helped somewhat as in the end we did have less accidents and it didn't took that long in retrospect. I think he was fully trained shortly after we started with being night trained before 4.

Almost 3 for my son. I only rushed it because his school required the kids to be potty trained. He was physically ready, just need a little push. My younger one was trained by 1.5 years.

We let him take his sweet time. He first started showing interested around 2.5 and two months later is when he had a full week of no accidents.

DS was 26 months. DD is 26 months and no where close...she's only had one pee on the potty!

DD1 was about 2.5 yo and she was really easy to train!
DD2 "took her time" a bit too... She would show readiness at around 2.5 yo, but over the course of a few months, she would regress a few times (especially when #3 was born)... She was finally pretty fully trained one month after her 3rd birthday.

We let DS take the lead and he was trained at 33 months
DD I pushed a little and she was trained at 34 months
I was thrilled with both as my goal was to have them trained by 3!

27 months but she had been sitting on the potty and going occasionally for 4-6 months. One day we bought the underwear and went for it. She still wears pull ups for night and naps.

Haven't gone through it yet myself personally but my friend'a 3 year old daughter is in no rush either. My nephew started around 3.5.

About 2.5 years. It really took her seeing the kids at daycare to "get" it.

Ugh 27 months and we were trying the 3 day method this weekend and it's not working at all. After 2 1/2 days she still has no problem wetting herself. And now she's sick today so I don't think I'm gonna push it. I think we'll just do diaper-free days on weekends until she gets a handle on it.

Oh wow. I have no desire to potty train E at 25 months or soon after with a newborn at home...maybe our daycare lady will do most of it for me

First failed attempt at 27 months. Just had another failed attempt this weekend at 31 months. DD just cannot pee in the potty. *sigh*
