4 syllables. Sounds like Amelia but with a D. There aren't two L's, so for me the 'E' would say its name.

@Mrs.KMM: Yup that's how I would pronounce it as well.
Adele-ee-uh or Ah-dell-ee-uh

My first instinct was Uh-deal-ya. Then I looked at it again and thought it could be A-duh-lee-uh.

My first reaction is to pronounce it to rhyme with azalea, more or less. So pretty much like adele-ee-yuh.

a-dale-eea
So the e after the d makes an "a" sound.

Like Amelia. Uh-deal-ee-ah. Very pretty! I also rhyme it with my name

Wait, how do yall pronounce Amelia? I say it with only three syllables. I'm confused now!

I think I'd say "ah-DEL-ee-yah" for this name, but "ah-MEEL-yah" for Amelia... the latter I LOVED as a possible name for our LO, but I had to scrap it, b/c I didn't like that my DH pronounced it "ah-MEL-ee-yah". Lol.

My first instinct is Adele (like the singer)-lee-yah
@jedeve: I pronounce it "Ah-meel-lee-yah"

I would say ah-dee-lee-uh like Amelia. I had Cordelia on my girl list and I say it similarly.

Uh-deel-ya.
Note, I say Amelia like "Ah-meal-ya" pretty much.
