I'm so stinkin proud of myself right now.

Around 26 hours ago I started the day with packing boxes and disassembling furniture for our move. I had to keep making trips from the house to the van and back with boxes and there was no one to watch Vi in the house, so I wore her the whole time on my back.

We made like twenty something trips carrying moving boxes before I ran out of boxes, so I walked over to Lowes next door to buy more.
On the way back some guy in the parking lot saw me carrying Vi on my back and a stack of 20 boxes on my head and called me a "badass mama". Made my day.

Anyway, fast forward like six hours and I realize I've been wearing her for about 16 hours with only diaper change breaks and one half hour lunch break (I wore her on front to nurse so she didn't even get unwrapped for nursing).

But then... I kept wearing her, and wore her ALL NIGHT LONG so that she could sleep while I worked around the house packing and cleaning. She slept like a rock.

To top it all off, I then transferred her to the bed, changed her diaper, got her dressed, picked her back up, carried her out to the car and got her buckled into her car seat all without waking her up. Yeah you can high five me now.

So all this is basically just me bragging because I feel like a damn superwoman right now. And also a huge shout out to babywearing because it's freaking awesome.
