I'm going through some weirdness and was wondering if anyone has gone through anything similar.

This past cycle, I got a very faint positive HPT on 12DPO (last Sunday) and still faint but clearer positive AND a positive digital HPT on 13DPO (last Monday).

But on the morning of 14DPO (Tuesday), which is the day I'd usually get my period, I took my temp and it had dropped. I ran right to the toilet to take a test, and it was negative. And then when I wiped, there was blood. I figured it had been a chemical pregnancy, and I'd gotten my period. This was alleged CD1.

On CD2 (Wednesday), my temperature stayed low. Still bleeding. I didn't test because I figured I wasn't pregnant.

On CD3 (Thursday), my temperature rose again. I took another HPT and got a positive. Still bleeding. Same on CD4, but the bleeding was almost gone. So I called the doctor.

The doctor took a urine test and it came up negative. He also took blood but it was Friday afternoon so I won't know what's happening until Monday morning.

This morning (CD5, Saturday) my temp was still up and I got a crystal clear positive on two different brands of HPT. Still bleeding, but very little.

The bleeding acted exactly like my period. It came when my period was due, lasted for as long as my period lasts every month, and even the flow was the same (medium, heavy, heavy, medium, light). And my temperature dropped for two days and I got a negative HPT.

But then my temps went up. And I'm still getting all of these positives, except for the urine test in my doctor's office. And my boobs are killing me.

My doctor sounded optimistic, which kind of sucks because I don't want to get my hopes up. I'm about 99% sure in my gut that whatever this is isn't a viable pregnancy. But I don't know what it is.

If my blood test is positive, the next step is to get an ultrasound and see what, if anything is hanging out in my ladyparts.

Has this ever happened to anyone before? Could this really just be a chemical pregnancy or miscarriage? Could it be ectopic? Or could it actually possibly be a sticky baby?
