Long story short, I tested last night to rule out pregnancy as the reason why I have been feeling off lately. It was definitely negative and stupidly I set it aside rather than throwing it out. This morning when I did go to throw it out there was a very obvious PINK line. I was at the doctor today so sure I am not pregnant. I just always thought evap lines showed up gray, not pink! Did anyone else ever have this happen to them? Bad batch maybe? It was from Dollar Tree.

Here is a picture. You can clearly see a thin line but in person the entire strip is very faint pink too.

@skipra: I've had pink evaps. I think reading within be time frame is key.

@BandDmommy: yes they can never be trusted outside the test window! I just always heard the pink dye only picks up if there is any hcg. Clearly not true!

@skipra: I've gotten a colored evap like that on the cheap tests when it was very thin like yours. The times it was faint outside the window but more of a colored wide line that looked like smudge, it was BFP

@runnerd: at least it is good to know the cheap ones tend to do that for when or if we start ttc again.
@simplyfelicity: no clue if I have even o'd. I just tested to rule it out because of some recent medical stuff. It is definitely a negative!
