And my husband! We moved into our new house in July 2016 and DS did great and stayed in sync with his sleep schedule. Which was, bath time, laid to sleep in his bed in his room with milk, and a favorite movie playing on his tv. This had been our routine since he was about 1 but always the same minus the movie before being 1. When we moved into our new house he was 2. He slept in his new room with no problem up until October.

I felt as though when winter kicked in, he got scared. Maybe the storms and having lower windows than our old place played a part in it. Here we are 8 months into him sleeping with us and it's amazing how small a king size bed becomes when you have a 3 year old invader.

So since October 2016 we have attempted many changes to transition him back into his room. All which have failed. Here's the list and hopefully you ladies can suggest a solution that is not on this list.

We redid his room completely! Since we have a king size bed we thought maybe he wanted a bigger bed because he had a toddler bed. So we got him a new bedroom, with a full size bed. Tons of fun night lights and overall a great new room. So we tried the old routine. And nope! We tried sleeping in the room with him. Nope. We tried just staying in the room with him until he fell asleep. Nope. We tried music (classical which he enjoys) instead of movies. Nope. We tried allowing him to fall asleep with him and transfer him to his bed. He stills come back to our room and even when we take him back once he falls asleep he still comes back. We tried that for about a month. No change. He would still come back every time. We tried just sticking him in there while we sat outside the closed door. HELL NO. He would go ape shit, throw all types of shit, and then open the door anyway. Soothing bath. Nope. Calming massage. Nope. Story time. Nope. Sleeping in his bed in his room is an all around nope nope and nope!

I'm sure I'm forgetting something we've tried but can't remember. I need my bed back. I need my husband back. We have an almost three month old DD and we barely come by us time as it is but laying in bed together was that time for us.

HELP ME!!!!!

Super long I'm sorry! Ignore any typos I'm writing this on my phone. Thanks ladies!!
