If so, how old is your baby?
I was a bit shocked when my sister said that her 3 month old son is being fed 8-12 times a day. I know babies eat often but I thought by 3 months, the frequency would have gone down. Boy, do I have a lot to learn. Hehe.

Right now he is 9 months old and his schedule is usually:
Between 5-6 am - Morning nurse
9:30 am - Bottle #1 daycare
12:30 - Bottle #2 daycare
3:30 - Bottle #3 daycare
5:30 - Nurse at home (he's slowly transitioning this to a solid food feeding)
7:30 - nurse at bedtime
And then usually 2-3 feedings overnight.
So I guess a total of 8 or so still!

DD1 was about every 3 hours and DD2 was every 2 hours like clockwork.

I nursed on demand, but on daycare days, we nursed in the morning, she took 3-4 bottles at daycare, and then we nursed twice before bed. She also nursed a lot overnight.

She's 9m and we are at about every 3 hours max nursing. About 2.5-3 with bottles at daycare. I think with formula they can go longer in between feedings because the bottles seem to usually be bigger! DD2 takes 3.5 oz per bottle.

DD is 4.5 months and eats 6 times per day. She gets formula. Around 3 months she was getting half formula, half BM and she was eating 7 times a day. She dropped her middle of the night feeding close to 4 months so it went down to 6 times per day.

6 months - formula fed (6 oz bottles) 6-7 times per day. We also are doing solids once per day (most days).

Let's see. M is 10 months and still nurse 3-4x overnight. Usually about 11, 2, 3, and 5. She nurses at 7, 11, 3, and bedtime at 7. So 8x a day still.

I nursed on demand for both LOs. LO1 was 10-12 times a day (24 hr period) until he was about 6 months old. He looooved to nurse. LO2 was a much sleepier infant and wasn't that into it. She nursed maybe 8 times per 24hr period at most, and she was much more efficient.

She's 5 weeks old and eats about every 2 hours with one to two 4 hour stretches. So I guess about 10 times a day right now.

8-12 sessions a day sounds about right for my wee guy (8 weeks) and his big sister nursed like that too.

If nursing on demand, 8-12 times is pretty normal I think. At nearly 8 months, DS nurses maybe 8 times a day. I no longer keep track.

DS is almost 12 months and typically nurses or gets a bottle 4-5 times a day: wake-up, late morning, late afternoon, bedtime, and sometimes very early morning (4-5am).
I think at 3 months he was still eating 7-8 times a day.

7 months-ish and we do 4 7 to 8oz bottles, although the last one is usually 5 to 7oz.

My son was doing 7 feedings a day by 8 weeks, 6 by 10 weeks, 5 by 12 weeks, 4 by 4.5 months. We are still on 4 feeds a day at almost 9 months plus solids 3x a day. He had mostly pumped breast milk until 7 months, then 50/50 with formula, and now he's weaned to all formula.

Almost 5 months old and is nursing 5-6 times in the day, every 3 hours with an extra feeding sometimes and 2-3 times overnight.
Up until 2 weeks ago she was eating every two hours around the clock.
