Emerald cut with side baguettes! Something like this, not quite so big. Or just a big solitare like @MrsTiz posted!

Same, solitaire on a platinum band.

@Boheme: That is so freaking gorgeous. Maybe for our 10th anniversary...

If we were paying I'd get my same set (cushion cut solitaire on diamond platinum band and diamond platinum wedding band) except I'd rather now my ering band was plain. If we were not paying same answer but a 2ct center stone I like big bling but I don't think it would ever be worth the price to me

@loveisstrange: and @Arden: I added a second band for LO and I love having a piece that is for her!! Just a simple rose gold eternity band. I feel more sentimental about that than my e-ring, I think!

@yoursilverlining: I've been campaigning for a rose gold ring to represent LO!

I would skip the e-ring and just go for a larger band like this:

DH had mine made custom and I mostly really love it! I wish the band wasn't quite so wide though. The band is mokume (which is a blend of white gold, sterling, and platinum in a cool design) and to be able to see the pattern the band has to be relatively large. I probably wouldn't want another one.

I love my rings- round diamond, 4 prong setting, with pave set diamonds going halfway around the ering, and pave set eternity band. The only thing I would change would be to make the band of the ering a little flatter so I felt it less between my fingers. It bothered me for a while but now I'm very used to it.

@loveisstrange: OMG I'm dying over that 2nd ring. Is that Tacori?

I really love my ring because it was my grandma's so it has a ton of sentimental value. But sometimes I would love something bigger and sparklier :).

I love my black diamond ring, but I might go for this nerdy ring

I love my ring - simple round with a thin platinum band. Maybe just a bigger stone? Hehe

    Cushion cut solitaire diamond.

Looks like my ring but different cut

The same as what I have. I have an almost flawless cushion cut diamond on a plain platinum band and I love it!

Round cut diamond with thin pavé band. I have round cut now, but my band is a little thicker and isn't pavé. I love emerald cut, but I'm worried it would look dated eventually...I don't think you can go wrong with classic round.

I love all of my rings and wouldn't change them. All picked/ designed by DH and the diamonds on my band were his mothers, reset.

I really really love mine!! I miss wearing it because my post partum fingers are too fat. :(. If I HAD to get a new one, I'm really loving the ones @loveisstrange: posted!!

I would keep my ring but make the diamonds in the halo smaller for a more delicate look. DH did pick it out and said he thought of me and our future, so I don't think I would ever change it.

I would probably still get a double claw solitaire. I might switch from cushion to Asscher cut. And I would upgrade to a double claw setting made by Leon Megé!

I would consider switching to a pave band, but honestly I like the contrast between my pave wedding band and my plain engagement ring band.

I love mine, and I love that DH picked it out. Totally would go for a bigger diamond though. 2ct? I think I would change my wedding band from channel set to some bigger diamonds, and I'd love another band for stacking.

I finally found a pic of my rings...I love them and the man who have them to me but I wish they were a bit more delicate. First world problem I suppose.
    ETA: Biggest picture ever!

@catlady: Thank you! I love it so much. DH and I picked it out together.

Here are a couple of real life pictures. It needs to be cleaned.
