6 months with my first, who nursed constantly. 5 months and counting with my second with no signs of AF whatsoever, and she has slept through the night since birth!

11 months with LO1. He was nursing 3-4 times per day and had been STTN for about 2 months. I'm 8 weeks pp with LO2 and I'm reallyyyy hoping I get that long again. I got pregnant again after that one period at 11 months pp, so I've had one AF in almost 3 years!

I did not exclusively breastfeed because I had low supply and two babies to feed, but I did nurse them on demand around the clock and AF returned just after they turned 1 (and still weren't sttn and I still can't figure out how to night wean at almost 17 months....).

19 months- and then I got pregnant the next month so I've had one period since October 2012. I got it back almost 2 weeks exactly after she dropped to nursing just once a day. Hoping to go that long again, both with nursing and no AF, if it works out for us.
However she didn't night wean or start STTN until 9 months. Months 3-9 I would have taken my period and a full nights sleep over no AF and getting up once or twice a night!

Interested in hearing responses. I'm 6.5 months PP and no AF. Babe sleep well at night, but nurses quite a bit during the day. Hoping AF holds off for a good long while!

6 months and then it came every 2 months until i went back to work full time at 12 months

Right around 13 months! It was so nice to be without, but I admit I was a bit happy to see that my lady parts are still functioning properly for a future LO #2 We still nurse 3-4x/day but we started solids (BLW) at six months and LO started STTN at around 9 months so I'm actually surprised it took so long!

9 months pp with lo1 (she was sleeping through the night for a few months by then)
lo2 is 8 weeks and hoping AF stays away for the same amount of time

DD woke up frequently through the night and remained an avid nurser, so AF came back 18 months to the day from when I went into labor. I think it was dropping my pumping sessions at work that did the trick, but I had a 6-7 day luteal phase until I night weaned.

11 months and he had been sleeping through the night for so long! Weird.

12 months...a couple days before LO turned 1. It was weird, I expected it alot sooner since DD slept thru the night from around 2 months old. But it didn't come back till I droped a pumping session at work.

10 months. LO was down to three feeds and had been sleeping through since 12w! So I was pretty ok with that!

I had some spotting at 13 months PP and got AF for real at 14 months PP. But DD usually nursed once during the night/early morning until about that time.

This is on my mind a lot because I want to TTC #3! But we are at 16 months and no AF. But LO is not night weaned or STTN (I know, I know). I guess I thought he would just sorta night wean naturally, but he hasn't. I only nurse for a max of 5 minutes if he wakes up in the night, in the hopes that it will eventually not be worth it to him to wake up. We'll see how that works out...

@twodoghouse: unrelated, ignore if you're not interested, but our night weaning was pretty painless. Since DS took a bottle too I switched all night feedings to bottles and then slowly decreased the volume in each bottle. No clue how I'll manage it with DD though...

@mrsjyw: I guess it's a small price for sleep?
7 or 9 m pp with #1 And 11m for #2. I unfortunately didn't get the STTN baby consolation prize.

I spotted at 11 weeks, but it never turned into af, and she still hasn't returned at almost 8 months pp. LO has sttn since about 6 weeks, so I have no idea when I'll get af back again.

Too soon! 3.5 months pp. So glad my midwife have new a heads up that if lo was sleeping 5 hours 5 days a week it could happen. It's been clock work, just finished my 3rd cycle at 6.5 months pp.
It's the pits. Bleeding and nursing is no joke.

Hope you had what I had-I spotted a few different times from about 3 months-8 months, but didn't have an actual, days-long period until 10 months PP. The spotting only lasted a day or two and wasn't too bad!

13-14 months PP with DS. He didn't sttn until 1 year.
DD is 12 weeks but sleeps 9+ hours at night so I'm sure she's just around the corner

I thought AF had returned at 12 weeks pp but turns out it was just some spotting and went away

14-15 months with my big girl and I had one at six weeks pp with my wee dude but nothing since then (he's six months and sleeps pretty well!)
