Usually yes. I actually have a little noteook that lists all the books I want to read. Once I've read a couple of books by an author I like I usually keep track of that author and read everything they've ever written!

Jodi piccoult, Emily giffin, Jennifer wiener are a few authors that come to mind who have many books each and I've read them all. For the most part, I think they've all been really good.

I do tend to seek out more books by the same author if I enjoy one of them. Bel Canto was my first Ann Patchett novel and I ended up reading two of her others: Run (which was kind of forgettable) and State of Wonder (which I loved).

I've read all of Tana French's novels but her most recent one. I've also read most of Ian McEwan's novels. On the nonfiction side, I'm a Peter Hessler and Michael Lewis completist.

There are a few magazine/online writers I'll consistently seek out too: David Grann, Caity Weaver and Mallory Ortberg come to mind.

I've read nearly the entire works of Henry Miller, Haruki Murakami, JK Rowling and Amélie Nothomb.

I've read a number of books by John Dos Passos and Emile Zola, but not even close to their full works.
