Thrilled/ecstatic/overjoyed/the happiest emotion you can have, but overwhelmed! Thrilled because we struggled with infertility and had to use IVF to get our LO. At this point I worry if he will ever have a sibling. Overwhelmed because our LO is only 6 months.

Shocked! We do want a third but #2 is only 4 months so that's sooner than we want!

Excited!! We want ours close together, but T is only 10 months. I would welcome a BFP and be ecstatic, but I think reality would hit me pretty quickly. Lol

At dinner tonight DH and I agreed the move TTC again in March 2014 (pre-DS plan) to January 2015 at the earliest. So, I would feel... not good.

@lawbee11: bhaha same here heck no!!
I would sob tears of unhappiness, probably... maybe eventually i would get use to the idea.

I would be shocked. We're two and through, but sometimes the idea of a third creeps up on us. Originally I thought I would be one and done. I had a BFP that resulted in a miscarriage when DS1 just turned 1. I thought I would be absolutely terrified, but I was surprisingly excited and hopeful. I think I would go through similar emotions, even though I don't have any plans for a third.

Based on my age and history, I'd assume it wouldn't stick. But if it did, I'd be completely freaked because it would mean four children. For me, getting pregnant is not the problem, it's the bad chromosomes.

Hahaha these reactions
Technically I wouldn't be surprised because I'm 5 months pregnant

I would be mildly concerned about the amount of holiday alcohol I have consumed in the last couple of weeks

Surprised and then worried because I'm on supression medication.

I'm with @oliviaoblivia: on the "Duh." I'm 39 weeks pregnant today. Haha!
nectarine / 2771 posts
I'd think, "Good! Hope it stays that way!" Currently 7 weeks pregnant

I'd tell myself that it's time to stop peeing on sticks I'm currently 8 weeks

Over the moon I'm ready. We're about to move into month 3 of TTC which is crazy for me since both my pregnancies happened the first try so this is a new feeling for me
persimmon / 1196 posts
I'd be thrilled (but also concerned about my confident non-gestating holiday alcohol consumption).
pomegranate / 3565 posts
Scared and worried. I'm rethinking the whole 3 thing at the moment because my 2 boys have been whooping my butt! It's either PMS or because I've been on vacation so I've had no break from them. Love my boys but I enjoy the time away that work gives me. I can recharge!

I'd probably fall off the toilet, but overall I would be excited. I want to TTC soon, but my husband does not.

Panic. Tears. Exhaustion (preemptive). Fear. But also joy. Resolve. Thankfulness.
We want a third but not yet. It would be scary but manageable.
papaya / 10560 posts
Terrified. It would be a complete and total lifestyle change (new cars, new house, wouldn't be able to work due to daycare cost, etc.)
cantaloupe / 6923 posts
Excited!!! Are we also assuming I would have 2 seperate uterus' or uteri? So 2 different due dates? 25 weeks apart lol.
pineapple / 12053 posts
Surprised and not crazy excited in timing but that would turn into happiness.
papaya / 10570 posts
I'd be relieved because it means that our timing decision has been made for us. We are currently trying to decide whether to TTC now, before DH goes back on his meds, or wait until the end of next year when he's off them again. We are barely coping at the moment so it would be madness to TTC now but I really, really wanted a smaller age gap. Ugh.

@Cherrybee: I always think with ttc that even if you conceive straight away you still have 10 months to get everything together. So think of where you will be in 10 months and see if a newborn fits in there and not now
I would be stunned, a little scared and then happy. Even though we ttc last month I decided I wasn't quite ready and we are going to take this month off while I lose the holiday weight.
