DH and I were talking about this last night, if our FET in January is successful and we had twins, we would definitely have to get a larger car. (We would upgrade my car and leave DH with his truck.) With our two dogs, plus two car seats, my CRV would have to go considering our mini road trips we like to do. Though, not sure how many road trips would could take with twins.

Yes, we can fit two cat seats in our current cars, but we would not have much room leftover for our dog, cat, and all of our other stuff.

No, I have an SUV with captains chairs and a fold down third row, but I'd probably want a van for convenience.

Nope, we already have a minivan. We would need to switch out DS's carseat to a Diono Radian though to accommodate three in the same row.

Not really. We'd get a bigger car than the two we have now but we are already planning to do that and I am pregnant with just 1 (my first). We are planning to get a 3-row SUV that seats 7 so we'd be fine if we had twins.

We have two 5-seat vehicles, and twins would give us 6 total people, so yes we would!

I think we could get by with 3 carseats in my Venza, but I'd probably want to get a bigger car at some point. DH's Leaf wouldn't work though. I'd be stuck with all the daycare runs.

Probably (CRV owner here too). Id just get a bigger SUV. No minivans here... ever.
Although, C would probably be almost in a harnessed booster and I might be able to swing her FF and 2 buckets on either side for a while.

We had a 4-door Corolla for the first 6 months of our twins' lives. It was VERY, VERY tight, but it did work, (even with the double stroller).
Ended up buying a CRV after that, and we have been a lot happier! You can totally do it with a CRV, even if you DO go on road trips! Just buy a couple of cheap umbrella strollers so you don't have to pack the double. That'll free up plenty of room!

Yes, we already have 2 car seats in our car. My guess is I will get a new car next year and DH will take my car.

Nope, we have a CRV and Altima, and they were purchased with the plan of 2 or 3 kids. We have a 100+ dog too.

Well, if I got pregnant with ANOTHER set of twins, I would never go anywhere. I'd just sit in my house and cry.
But seriously, when we had twins I didn't have to get a new car. When we upgraded vehicles a couple years ago, we got a big SUV with 3 rows of seats. And we take up every inch of that space when we go somewhere!!

We traded up our Escape for an Explorer right before we got pregnant with our twins. It works out great for our family of four + dog. The Eacape, which is similar to a CRV in size, would not have been as easy to do with twins, but still doable.

I have a 4 seater coupe so for twins I would have to get a new car. DH has a sedan so his car would have to work

I think a crv would be fine for two kids and dogs. We have an Audi Q5 and two kids and we used to have a Bernese Mountain dog. We just got a box for the top where we store the luggage. Works great.

Yes I would have to get a bigger SUV. I bought a smaller SUV when LO1 was born. We have another on the way but just one, not twins. LO1 plus LO2 will fit in the backseat with my 90+ dog in the way back, but I don't think 3 carseats would fit.

We had to buy a new car when we found out we were pregnant with twins! We had a focus and a ridge line, neither of which are suitable for three little ones. We ended up getting a Pilot. The rainier we have for Jack is supposed to fit fine with two Chicco Keyfits all in the second row. If it becomes an issue we'll move J to the back row but I'm hoping we don't have to so that we can keep the third row down for strollers and such.
I can't wait for your FET! I want babies so badly for you!!

Yeah, I'm pretty sure we couldn't fit two adults and 3 rear facing carseats and a triple stroller (do they even make that?) in a Toyota Yaris.

Yes. That would make 4 car seats & 2 adults and my car only seats 5 max.
Maybe if we put one of them on the roof.....or trunk....hmm

I'm having twins and have a 2 year old and am keeping my Accord. I can just fit 3 car seats in the back so figured I want to keep the car that's fully paid for.
