What happened during delivery with your other children?

I had another, but smaller one, during delivery #2.

Minor tearing with number 2 and a much easier recovery!

I voted no episiotomy, no tearing, but really I did have some very, very minor tearing. So much easier of a birth and LO2 was 1/2 lb bigger (LO1 8lb 15oz, LO2 9lb 5oz)

I tore with #2, right along the old episiotomy line. It healed easily.

I tore with the second in 3 spots. Much larger baby. (9lbs vs 6lbs)

I had a tiny surface tear that didn't require stitches.

Yes, this is very encouraging, especially if I get cleared for a vaginal birth in a few weeks.

My second baby was almost ten pounds and I had a 3rd degree tear (big shoulders!) but I had no issues with healing from either the episiotomy or the tearing
