Do you use a large company like Merry Maids, a small company with insurance or someone under the table without insurance?

Obviously, it is much cheaper to go with someone under the table and they seem to be more flexible about things like doing a load of dishes and linens whereas many of the companies don't do those things.

Was there anything that made it easier for you to make a decision? There is an under the table lady here that has a fabulous reputation but I worry about her falling down the stairs or something. A friend used the local Merry Maids group and she said they were on such a time table that if her kitchen floor took a few extra minutes then they just wouldn't do her shower type of thing.
