What kind of bathing suit do you wear? If you have several different kinds, choose the one that is the least modest that you would wear.

I have a ruched tankini and a higher-waisted bottom I wear, as well as a ruched onepiece.
I did wear bikinis before getting pregnant, and would have sported one after a kid if I didn't get so many stretch marks!

I wear a tankini that has some rushing in the stomach. I don't now if I will ever be comfortable in a bikini again, unless it's at a private pool/resort know one knows me.

A two piece bikini, but the top must have underwire/be supportive, and the bottom has to have some coverage (no VS teeny bikinis over here. I was lucky enough not to get stretch marks on my stomach with LO. However, that doesn't mean I look great in a bikini! I tried finding a one piece last year and had no success

I wore a tankini last summer (about 1 year po) but in wearing my bikini on vacation next week! I am lucky that I didn't get stretch marks. I definitely don't have a flat toned stomach but i never did, and I figure if we have a second it will be that much harder... So I'm wearing it. But I'll probably wear a rash guard while playing with Lo anyway.

I haven't been in a bathing suit since birth haha. But right now I would wear a bikini I have with a t shirt and shorts over it to swim in. I definitely don't have a bathing suit body right now

Bikini. I got one little stretch mark right above my belly button with my second pregnancy, but I don't feel uncomfortable with how my stomach looks.
I would feel a lot happier in a bikini if I lost more weight, but my thighs are my main "problem area" and no swimwear covers them up so I just go with the cutest suit I find, regardless of cut

I wouldn't have worn a bikini before and won't after... lol. I haven't worn a bathing suit since birth but I would wear the same suits I wore before. I feel like I look pretty much the same. If I was thinner (not a baby issue, just an i'm-lazy issue) I would wear a bikini regardless of my c section scar. It is noticeable but not gross IMO. Just means I have an awesome kid.

If I'm out without the kids, a bikini but typically not string. In general I lucked out with a body that bounced back and no stretch marks, but I need more support than a teeny triangle top after breastfeeding two babies!
With the kids, I wear a tankini or one piece because they tug at the top!

A sort of retro looking 2 piece from Lands End. Top was bra like need the support for the girls and bottom was a skirt with side ruching.

After LO1, I liked the high waisted bikini bottoms and a good coverage bikini top. We'll see how I feel after this LO.

My belly is essentially the same (with a little looseness around the button) as it was before pregnancy. I still wear the same type of suit - tankini with bikini or boy short bottoms.

I've always worn a bikini...before, during & after. I did add a tankini to my rotation since the girls have gotten more grabby, however.

Oh wow haha! Am I the only shirt/ shorts person? I like to be covered up, so I'll wear a swim skirt and a tankini, but that was my closest option.
ETA: I always covered up even size 4 pre kids (and happily size 8 post kids)

Bikini, but with a caveat. I wear mine with a rash guard because I am NEUROTIC about sun exposure. In an indoor pool I would just wear a bikini.

I haven't had my baby yet but I have gained and lost plenty of weight over the years and definitely have stretch marks unassociated with pregnancy. I still wear a bikini!

Bikini after my first and tankini and one pieces after my second.

A tankini the past two summers, but I was at my very heaviest and felt terrible about my body. With how I feel about my body now I think I'll be much more comfortable in a bikini or other two piece, even with a pouch and some stretch marks.
ETA: Well, in all honesty if E's with us it'll still probably be a tankini or something. He likes to be tossed around and he occasionally (and mostly accidentally) pulls at my top...I don't want to flash everyone!

One piece for me! It's not the stretch marks that bother me but all the loose skin that doesn't need to see the light of day. I carried huge and apparently my body definitely does not bounce back.

2 piece (same as before pregnancy, the girls have always needed some support). After my first I actually felt better about my body than in the years prior (my hips expanded and made my similar looking tummy look flatter, escaped stretch marks). I am scared what this 2nd pregnancy is going to do though, so we'll see in a few months

Last summer I wore a bikini with a rashguard top and it was PERFECT. Felt supported, covered, & didn't have to worry as much about sunscreen on myself.

Bikini with underwiring, I'm not concerned about people seeing my stretch marks.

I still wear a bikini, from Asos, with ruched hip bottoms. This one is my favorite! Except, you know, in like an FF, heh.
I also have the tankini version from La Blanca for days I want/need more coverage (I have stretch marks and I don't appreciate comments from my family)

Tankini or one-piece. I'm not ashamed, but I never felt comfortable in a bikini pre-baby.

No stretch marks here, but my belly is certainly not what it once was. I wear a one piece for exercising but bikini for the beach. It's maybe not what flatters me best, but I don't care enough to switch up!

Tankini with boyshort or skirt bottom, but that's also what I wore pre-baby. For me it has nothing to do with how fat or skinny I am/was/will be. I prefer more coverage.

@jedeve: I've got a mod cloth one piece that I love love love!!!
