Do they blend in with the floor or stand out?
I usually get a color that stands out but when looking at reviews of a rug I was thinking about several people mentioned how nicely it blended in with the floor.

We have light colored hardwood in the kitchen (entire house), and our rugs are rich red patterns, sea-green, blues, etc.

Stand out. It never occurred to me to have them blend. Though I love color, so it's mores style to have things stand out.

Mine blend. I think it depends on the color of flooring and what you are trying to achieve... Like do your want your decorating more minimalist and just a variation in texture, or do you want the rugs to pop more and help to decorate the room?
