If you didn't go back on birth control after having LO, and were NTNP, how long till you got pregnant? Due to my age, I don't think I want to go back on birth control but I also don't want to get pregnant again right away.

10.5 months. we never used protection after LO1 was born and I EBF.

Umm, the first time we DTD as NTNP when DD1 was 10.5 months old was the time we got lucky.... Also got pregnant with DD1 our very first time pulling the goalie, so maybe I'm not a good example!

We pulled and prayed after LO was born until this past month. I got pregnant the first time we "pulled the goalie" (12 months pp). I'm still completely shocked because it took over a year of actively trying to get pregnant with LO.

We pulled and prayed until 11 months. We stopped pulling out & got pregnant the first month! (NTNP)

I got my bfp a couple weeks before LO1 turned 1. I was still bf'ing so I think it may have been sooner if not.

We NTNP after DS was born and I got pregnant 4 months after he was born.

We were NTNP for nearly a year after DS was born but I was breastfeeding. When I started dropping pumps at work around 11m, I got my period back and decided to get an IUD.

I never went back on bcp after DS. We used a combo of abstinence, pull n pray. I ebf'ed for 13 months and Af came back at 4.5 mths pp. He's two. No bfp while 'ntnp,'

I'm curious too. We're NTNP now, but I have ovulation issues and am EBF LO. I'm 27. I doubt I'll get a BFP again before DD is a year.
My mom never used protection between her children and got pregnant with my sister 11 months PP while EBF. She was 21. She hadn't even gotten AF back.
To those who got pregnant quickly after LO1, when, if ever, did you get AF back?

Never went back on bcp. AF came back 9 months pp. We pulled the goalie when lo was 13 months. Was still ebf on demand and got ku on the first month. I was completely shocked because I was nursing so much.

Pregnant at 5 months post partum. -
We did pnp until lo1 turned 1 and then started trying. Got pregnant the first month trying. Af came back at 6 months.

I didn't go back on birth control - I EBFed and used OPKs. I didn't ovulate until 12.5 months, and got pregnant the first ovulation.

My period was back 4 weeks PP despite nursing and pumping around the clock. I used the mini pill for a few months and got pregnant on my first cycle off BCP.

First time :s it was quite the shock lol.

13 months with a CP, then 15 months with current pregnancy. I weaned at 10 months.

I got pregnant at 12 months PP. AF came back at 9 months PP when I weaned. It was a big shock because we had to do fertility treatments with LO1.

I had a CP at 9.5 months and then conceived DD2 at 14.5 months pp.
