Would you have a neighbor (or someone else) watch your kids while you went to the ER?

Like let's say, you cut yourself and needed stitches. For me, it would be if my husband had a bad asthma attack and needed to call 911.

I'm just curious how people handle these types of situations. Or would the ambulance just take you and the kids to the hospital, too?

What do you do at the hospital? Maybe Drs and nurses could chime in.

So in Grey's anatomy, I think they had a social worker or someone watch the kid. I asked one of my nurses and they said you wouldn't want a social worker called for something like that.
