We nap trained our LO this weekend and it went great. However, we sent him back to daycare and his naps there are awful.. We told them exactly what we did but the most they can get out of him is a 30 minute nap.. so frustrating..

My mom watches my LO so I voted "nanny". My DD is a pretty good napper. She's pretty consistent with her schedule so it helps my mom out a lot.

both charlie and olive are good nappers because we sleep trained. lately olive has been fighting her naps with me though... she goes down for our nanny or mr. bee much better!

I stay home, and have always done pretty much the same thing for naps for dd and ds. dd is a good sleeper in general, and ds is not. ds rarely sleeps more than 30-40 minutes. dd almost always takes a 1.5 hr nap a day (today 2!) and the rest are usually 45-60 min. we haven't sleep trained. in our house, sleep habits are pretty ingrained in each kids personality, no matter what we do.

My DS is a great napper on the weekends, and when I get his day care report, it is generally good, but sometimes he will have an off short nap. I think it's due to all the different schedules the babies are on and the noise level. If he's coming out of a 45 min sleep cycle and there is crying, he will most likely wake up and not go back down. We sleep trained him for night, but naps always happened naturally and without and training needed. For DD she was a terrible napper, but it improved when she moved to the older toddler room (18+ months) and only had one nap and all kids were on the same schedule.
