Brooks Brothers outlet. They are pretty reasonably priced--more so than I thought they would be.

We got DH a suit from Jos A Bank for our wedding 3 years ago. It was not the best experience. They had to start from scratch 3 days before the wedding because they screwed it up. I think we ended up paying around $300 just for the jacket and pants. They were horrible at tailoring it to fit correctly.

My DH got a Ralph Lauren suit at Macys a few months ago. About $300 with a coupon, I think. My brother and his groomsmen got their suits for his wedding at Macys this spring too.

studio suits! they custom make them in india, so they're cheap but fit like a glove!

@Arden: we haven't ordered from them in a couple years, so I'm sure there's been some price changes, but I wanna say he ordered a custom three piece suit and a custom shirt for ~$250 maybe. You can design the suit on their website to see what the prices would be for what you're interested in. If you can buy off the rack, there are cheaper suits out there, but mr. bird has an extreme athletic build so suits off the rack couldn't even be altered to fit which is why we sought the cheapest way to have custom suits done. They're great to work with. The groomsmen in our wedding also ordered suits from them & I think they were ~$150, some didn't do a great job with their measurements, but they make just what you order & confirm anything they think seems off.

We just got him a suit for a wedding from Burlington Coat Factory last weekend. The last one before that was from JCP. He never has to wear suits for work, though (the one from JCP was for a funeral) so we didn't feel the need to invest a ton.

Younkers, we got a nice Calvin Klein one for a steal and he has one Express one that looks nice as well.

DH's last suit was from... high school, so when a friend's formal wedding came up 1.5 years ago, we started at Macy's and some other cheaper stores around our area, and ended up splurging a little to get a suit from J.Crew that looks really good on him. I would have loved to spend less, but thought it was important for him to have one that fits him really well!

Typically Macys or Nordstrom/Nordstrom Rack… but sometimes you can find some nicer suits at burlington coat factory.

We're so over Jos. A Bank so thanks for all the other suggestions ladies! SO's job just went from suits M-Thu till only when there is court which was a big relief but he'll still need to buy them every other year or so.
