I'm in my BFFs wedding next september... I didn't want a newborn (and newly post partum body!) for the wedding. I'm toying with the idea of trying next month for an October baby... Which puts me at 37w pregnant for the wedding but a fall baby works much better for my maternity leave so I might just suck it up.

Not ready yet. I am finally at the point where I can see why other people with babies the same age would be TTC, if that makes sense, but I'm enjoying this stage a lot and am not in a rush to change it. For practical reasons, it also makes sense to wait a little-- we have a 2 bedroom condo on the second floor of a walk up, so we will most likely move when we have a second. That move will likely be to the suburbs, which neither of us are in a rush to do, so....
That said, I'm not getting younger and we don't want a huge age gap, so hopefully I'll be pregnant before the end of 2015.

Pre Baby when i was pregnant we decided that we would start TTC when DS turned one. Now that we're past the one year mark i am not ready to TTC again. 100% mentally, i am just not ready. My baby still isn't STTN, and i need to seek some help for some PTSD i am feeling about getting pregnant again due to a stressful pregnancy, complications, early baby, PPD and colic. oof!! so many things. It makes me sad that i am terrified to TTC again. (hence the needing to go talk to someone about my anxieties)

We are one and done. Our LO does sleep through the night (I know we're very lucky: she's 11 months and has always been a great sleeper) but she keeps us soooo active and on our toes during the day! Plus finances, our tiny apartment, and the fact our family feels complete at 1. I have lots of friends that have mega baby fever and kids the same age as Lettie who aren't even STTN yet, and I have no idea how they do it! They must be more resilient during the day. Or gluttons for punishment if their LOs really do exhaust them like mine does (as much as I love her)

@Foodnerd81: We're not having another, but I'm still not to the point of seeing why people with babies the same age are TTC. M is still such a baby to me

Just not ready! I'm really enjoying Sadie at this age, and I'm not ready to introduce a newborn into the mix. I do want another one, but I'm in no hurry. Plus, we're going to Disney next fall, and I don't want to be pregnant!

@ILoveLettie: Hahaha yes! I can totally relate to your post.

@lawbee11: Yeah, C is still such a baby. And so much fun! And first trimester suuuuucckkss.
Oh also, still nursing twice a day. I'm in no rush to stop that, but I have zero interest in tandem nursing. Also also, still no period so couldn't TTC if I wanted to.

Financial reasons, baby doesn't STTN, and we are not yet quite ready. A month or two ago, I couldn't begin to fathom TTC again, but lately I'm thinking, maybe soon? But I really do need to get through my comprehensive exams before we head that way again.

@MrsHoneyC: yeah, also I am so not there mentally yet. Hugs, lady.

Biggest reason -- finances. Before we moved we planned to TTC imminently. We weren't really expecting such a major move and we both took pay cuts so we're just trying to feel a bit more comfortable now! I was a little sad about the change in plans at first, but I'm happy here and I love that my H is doing his dream job Hopefully we'll be good to go within the next year.

We keep pushing TTC back...and back...and back...we're already past the third point in time that we said we'd try. We're not quite ready financially and for various reasons I'm not ready mentally.

Other: Finances aren't the problem, both kids sleep fine, we're ready for another one but the timing's all wrong. We'll revisit in next year. And possibly the year after that.

Other - waiting for a fibroid surgery to heal so out next cycle but will TTC after that!

Newly pregnant but we pushed back our timeline a couple times this year.

It's a bit of "our baby is only 11 months old", and we had some major financial stress this year. We were financially prepared for DD, and I'd like to be in that place again. Plus, I want to lose about 30 pounds before getting pregnant again.

Dh recently sprang it on me that he doesn't think he wants another... I'm still in denial about it all

I have an 18 month old and a 5 month old so needless to say we're taking a break!

mostly financial because it would be bad timing for me to get pregnant in the fall due to my busy season for work. we'll start trying in a few months.
