But I was floored to hear that IHOP is turning into IHOb...Burgers? Like did they not think there was already enough competition in the Burger market?
I find this so intriguing...I wonder who their consulting firm was and what they are thinking...

I don't think its really a name change forever just a ploy to get people in..... with that said I think they are competing with Red Robin as they also offer unlimited fries.
I love a good burger so I might give it a try!
As a side I totally thought it would be "Bacon" and they were introducing some new bacon item - ha!

I think it's a silly name change, even if it's a publicity stunt. But the fact that we are all talking about it means it's working!

It is probably because it promotes people thinking of it as more than just a breakfast place and this establishes that you can think of going there for lunch/dinner too. Doubles or triples the audience.
