    Official and corrected stats...

They were delivered this morning on 9/5/15 at 4:40a and 4:42a. Lana Claire (3lb 1oz) and Keaton James (4lb 3oz) are in the nicu and are stable.

Oh, did see them a few hours ago. We got to hold the boy but we might get to hold the girl tomorrow.
They are so tiny but are so amazing! I can't believe we made them!!

I'll share pics soon. There are some good ones of us but it's on DH's phone but he is sleeping and I'm going to let him sleep.

@bluestriped bee: I love their names! So tiny! I'm so glad they are doing well and you've been able to see them. Did Lana being a pound smaller cause any issues with delivery? I can't believe they are here! You must be so tired and so over the moon. What a long day. I hope you're able to get some sleep too!

    Thank you everyone!!

@agold: @twodoghouse: Long story short. I stopped progressing past 6 cm and continued upping the pitocin. After 10 hrs, I was still at 6cm. They think my uterus was tired from possibly the water being broken for weeks and maybe a low grade fever was developing that was not affecting the twins or myself yet. We ended up deciding to go with a c-section to get both babies out. A tiny bit disappointed that I couldn't try for a vaginal birth but I knew all along that I could have a c-section to get both babies out. I was tired and my temp was steady for the past 5 weeks but my temp was starting to inch up. Not quite near a fever, though. Babies are here and it was a non-emergency c-section so low stress. I think it was a good decision to make.

@bluestriped bee: you did great and the babies are here safe and sound! I hope your recovery goes ok, though. Mine ended up being very easy. Was your incision glued or stapled? Are they wheeling you down to the NICU to visit the babies? Have you seen an LC or started pumping? Are they in separate rooms or the same one? At least you'll probably get extra time at the hospital since you had a csection which is nice when the babies are there! You don't have to answer any of this, by the way! You can totally just sleep and ignore all my questions. I'm a huge advocate of resting up as much as possible! I am just so happy for you. I know I sound like a broken record, but I'm just thrilled that you are a mom!!!

@twodoghouse: I'm actually not sure. I thought I heard my dr or doula say I was being stitched up. So sutures, I guess. I'll ask if my nurse knows.
Yup, they wheeled the whole bed so I could see them. They are very accommodating. I'm going to try in an hour to stand with the assistance of a nurse. Not looking forward to it but they say the quicker I'm out of bed the faster my recovery time is. My twins are in their own private nicu room, so I can stay there and pump or BF in the same room. After I'm discharged, I can go right to the private nicu room. I think I might be discharged on Monday or Tuesday if everything goes well.
I met with the LC after taking nap after seeing the babies for the first time. Nothing came out but I just tried pumping again and I was able to get one drop of colostrum. I called the Keaton's nicu nurse and they go what they could into a syringe. The LC and nicu nurse and dr said its good to get it on his lips. They said Lana's won't need to feed today. BTW, it's so weird and weird calling them by their names now.

Wow, a mom, how awesome! Congrats!

Pumping drops can be frustrating, but every little drop is awesome, my nurses got really excited about pumping 0.3 cc my second day, lol.
