@Mrs. Polish: looks like a great deal!! do you have to take the tires off to fold every time?
blogger / nectarine / 2010 posts
@sorrycharlie: I'm not sure. I'm going to try to go check one out in person. The second hand store has one. Fingers crossed. We have a double umbrella stroller that was a cheapie for the airport and we broke it already.

@Mrs. Polish: I did a quick google search and came across this review: http://tinyurl.com/n8mdqnf
"I purchased this at Walmart for around 160 along with a sun and bug cover from amazon. I received the stroller yesterday and was able to assemble it by myself in about 10 minutes. You will need a screw driver for 4 screws to secure the foot rest but other than that it pretty much just snaps together.
I currently own a Bob Single jogging stroller and borrow a Bob double from my neighbor, both with swivel wheel and I didnt want to purchase another expensive stroller now that I need one for 2 so I decided to take a chance on a cheaper one. SO FAR, I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THE STROLLER. My biggest concern with taking my kids for a walk is the mosquitoes and the sun and I hate putting sunblock on them along with Deet so much so that I actually prefer keeping them indoors. Not anymore! I can push the stroller with one hand, sure it is a little harder than the Bob, but it is also 400$ cheaper. It comes with two cupholders for me and a little tray and my kids also have a cup holder and tray however theirs is pretty far from them so I dont see how it will work out really well but I dont mind. The tires were easy to air up, unlike the previous instep double jogger that I assisted my friend in putting together. they put a 45d angle in the valve so you could get a pump on the valve without much trouble. The basket is seperated down the middle. It doesnt fold up extremely small, but it is decent for a double jogger. It fits through my front door, just barely, but it does. I like the sun shades a lot, they move independently so that is a plus for my kids ( 6mo and 2.5 yrs)
Now that I have a sun and bug cover (sashas) this is the perfect stroller! Glad I took a chance and purchased it! Sure it looks plasticy, but it functions well and I am SUPER pleased with the purchase!"

@Mrs. Polish: I wanna say babyjmama has that stroller in a single. Maybe wall her.

@sorrycharlie: i went and got it today. The tires come off for a more compact storage, but it isn't necessary to do. We took it out this afternoon and I love it.

@Mrs. Polish: good to know! thanks for the update. are you going to use it in stores/indoor places, too? or just outside? who knew there were soo many stroller options..man.
blogger / nectarine / 2010 posts
@sorrycharlie: we don't really go anywhere that I would use it inside, but I would if we did. If I ever have to take them both to the Dr or something I would use it there.
It's kind of bulky, but moves really well.

@Mrs. Polish: can you give us more detail? (you've got me interested now). Like can a car seat snap it? (not that i'd jog with an infant but for walks and trips)..
and also about the reclines and stuff?
blogger / nectarine / 2010 posts
@CupQuakeWalk: i don't think a car seat can go on it. It says it's for 6mo and up, but it fully reclines. I have a single jogging stroller for Zay that says 6mo, but I put him in it for walking. You're just not supposed to jog with them until 6mo. The five point harness is impressive and carseat-like instead of some other strollers we've used.

@Mrs. Polish: I love our single Britax one but that harness is sh***y. I'd imagine a harness with quality is extra important in a jogging stroller. Walmart had it in store? Or where'd you end up going to get one right away?
blogger / nectarine / 2010 posts
The used store Once Upon A Child was selling them new in box. I don't know if that's a chain or not. Walmart online is cheaper though. @CupQuakeWalk:
My phone is being wonky
blogger / nectarine / 2010 posts
@CupQuakeWalk: we should get together and you can just try it out.

@Mrs. Polish: BAM. You always give me the real answer i'm looking for.
blogger / nectarine / 2010 posts
@CupQuakeWalk: also, the seat limit is 50lb/kid, so we'll be using it a while. I think it's a good alternative to the $600+ ones. Especially if you don't know how much you'll use it
coconut / 8475 posts
@Mrs. Polish: $600 isn't going to happen. I don't live in an area where they would be remotely useful to me.

@Mrs. Polish: I know this is an old thread but I'm looking into getting this exact stroller! Do you still love it? Do you use it for indoor too or just outdoor?
blogger / nectarine / 2010 posts
@dolphin: we don't use it anymore because we only have one child now, but I did use it constantly and absolutely loved it. I used it indoor and outdoor. It would fit through doors, but it was a tight squeeze. I'd still highly recommend it because it's so affordable. If you get it, I have extra tires I could send you, just as a backup.
