Need some advice here - what are the "rules" for interviewing for two roles within the same group (reporting to two different people)? I just had an interview today for the second role I applied for and I feel like I should have told them I was interviewing for another job within the group. The interviewers boss is aware that I am in the running for another position but I didnt directly volunteer it today when I spoke with him because it never really felt right during the interview and he said he would be consulting with his boss about potential candidates. I am wondering if I should include a comment about it during my thank you/follow up note or just let them know down the road if I actually get an offer for the first role I interviewed for. Any insight would be appreciated I have terrible etiquette for this type of thing!!!!
