Are you running it yet? I downloaded it earlier. It needed 4.7 GB of space!! I finally had to back up all of my iPhone pictures and clean them off my phone to make room.
So far I like it. It's not a huge change though but has some cool new features.

I don't have space and I'm not in the mood to delete and back things up!

i think if you connect your phone to itunes on your computer the old school way and update via itunes you don't need the 4+ gb of free space on your phone!
i love how you can get calls on your ipad now!!

Is it it performing so far? I usually wait for the second version on an iOS because the first version tends to be buggy, slow, and/or a bad drain on the battery.

Oh, I just Googled and saw a bunch of articles saying that iOS8 is really crappy on the 4S, which is what I have.

@hellobear: I know. My computer is a mess though and it takes twice as long to download an update on there than on my phone.

My iphone is my work phone, and we're not allowed to update to 8 yet (they're still testing it here). What are the big differences you're noticing?

@night cheese: Ugh, I wish I'd seen that! I'm hopefully upgrading my 4S in the next month or two. My camera is working again, which is nice, but it deleted like 2/3rds of my contacts (including my husband!)
