I would be so happy to not have two in diapers. But I'm wondering if I'm going too fast for my 2.5 year old toddler.

DS absolutely HATES diaper changes. He doesn't care how wet he is or poopy, he doesn't like diaper changes. He is still in the bottom percentiles for verbal language and almost never spontaneously speaks. It is 95% from prompting. So he likely won't tell us he's wet or needs the potty for the first bit at least. The daycare ladies think he is still too young.

But I just can't get over the fact that he can pull his own pants on and about half the time he takes a bath, I see him squatting and start/stopping himself (in the tub, yes, real sanitary kid).

I was hoping that this weekend would be the time (the next vacation day is Thanksgiving, ugh), but am I being too optimistic?
